Margarita Alfaro

Margarita is a UA Sophomore accounting major with a minor in Spanish.She will be travelling to Spain this summer to study in Madrid at Antonio de Nebrija University. This will be her very first trip abroad!  In Spain she will also have an opportunity to visit several beautiful Spanish cities: Toledo, Salamanca and Segovia. In addition to maintaining a 4.0 GPA, Margarita works for the United Way of West Alabama, specifically helping out the Hispanic community with literacy and community resources. She is also a volunteer student leader with UA Miracle which assists Children’s of Alabama and the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and a member of Tri Delta sorority. Margarita has been working part time in summers and during the school year to help fund her study abroad experience and we are very happy to assist her in this endeavor. Buen Viaje Margarita!
