Abby Kingsbury

Abby is a junior majoring in Marketing and Finance, with a 4.0 GPA. This summer she will be traveling to Croatia and Italy and will study Macroeconomics as well as participate in a special research project focusing on Rome and the art of Michelangelo. Abby has a passion for art so she is super excited to participate in this once in a lifetime project. As a member of Alphi Phi sorority and NHS, French and Art National Honor Societies,she is very busy on campus. She also volunteers at the local animal shelter and works part time. As the daughter of a single mom, Abby pays for college through scholarships and grants and our supplement will help her pay for the remainder of her fees for the program. In her faculty recommendation she is described as an extraordinary, curious and highly competent student. Abby believes that travel facilitates personal growth and she wants to use this experience to grow her cultural understanding and appreciation. She writes, “Putting yourself into unknown situations is one of the best ways for personal growth”.
